The GlobeRiders Live!Journal is weblog created while any of our adventure tours or expeditions is in progress. While journeying along, participants send stories and photo galleries to our webmeister as time and internet connections permit. Once a week, these are published as a new Weekly Chapter webpage on this website. Those who subscribe to our newsletters, to include families and friends of the riders, receive an Update notice via email as each new Weekly Chapter is published. Even years after the tour is over, participants can re-live the adventure, as all Live!Journals are archived and listed below.
In addition to a Bikes and Bios Chapter, where you can meet the participants and staff up close and personal, each Live!Journal Chapter also has a Position Tracking Banner Map. The GlobeRiders guide on each tour has a Personal Satellite Messanger on his motorcycle. Throughout any given riding day, a number of GPS-determined position fixes are sent via satellite, and each position fix is rendered and displayed on the Chapter Banner Map. In short, you can track the group's position in real-time via satellite.

2023 Muscat to München Adventure
Twenty-three years ago, Helge contacted MIR Corporation in Seattle and proposed a collaboration for a motorcycle tour starting in Tokyo, Japan, and ending in München, Germany. The Muscat to München Adventure is the latest iteration of that collaboration. Twenty countries, 20,000Km in 72 days.
GlobeRiders is extremely proud to offer the GlobeRiders South of the Equator Adventure! We have traveled in Africa by motorcycle since 1982 and conducted motorcycle tours on the continent with GlobeRiders since 2003. We'll be traveling through South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Malawi, Tanzania and Kenya.
The African Adventure 2019 begins and ends in Cape Town, South Africa, making a counter-clockwise loop through Lesotho, Swaziland, Botswana, Zambia, and Namibia.
